#notjustUS was a self-initiated project and social media campaign ahead of the 2016 US elections which sought to convince disenchanted American voters who believe in a shared world of the importance to vote.
I was the main organizer of this project. My team developed the concept, organized the event, interviewed and photographed participants, transcribed and edited content, developed graphic design, and posted the stories on social media over the 2 weeks leading up to the elections.

Part interview, part photo essay, this campaign invited students to share how the outcome of the election would influence their country or community. We asked participants to consider their response as their one message to a potential voter the night before the election. The stories were shared on social media with the hashtag #notjustUS.
The project was realized with friends and fellow residents of International House in New York. As immigrants ourselves or children and friends to immigrants, we were uniquely positioned to voice the international implications of the election in tones of care and concern.
